A New Home
While I enjoyed my brief holiday in Faction Warfare, it was never intended as a permanent home. For that, I already had a reasonable idea of where I wanted to end up. There'll probably be a couple more FW-related articles to come for those who're interested, but that's not what this post is about.
As of today, I'm now a member of The Tuskers - one of New Eden's premier low sec piracy corporations, and some of the best small gang PVPers that I've met.
Yarr.

So you gonna be a legit pirate or just using it as a venue for fights?
ReplyDeleteA little of both, honestly. Piracy isn't my main motivation for joining, but it's a big part of the corp's culture as well as being something I've never really done before, so I'm naturally going to give it a go.
DeleteThe priority though remains looking for (and hopefully winning) challenging fights, and that's something that the Tuskers do really well. Not that the two things are really that different of course - there's a lot of overlap between a pirate and someone who's simply a lowsec PVPer.
Were you bribed with that Proteus? :p
ReplyDeleteGood luck.
Say Hi to Souliman Souaa for us, bumped into him a few times... didnt end well for me. Prob see you there with him in the future. Ill say hi again as my hull disintigrated around me no doubt lol.
ReplyDeleteThule.
Aha I think you're about to become orange to me then, should we meet i'll be happy to provide explosions one way or the other ;)
ReplyDeleteI have much respect for the Tuskers. They were my "neighbors" in Verge Vendor for a long time before I moved out to Curse. Much success to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll have a blast in Tuskers - I did, for sure. Class act group of guys.
ReplyDeleteI spent about a month in tuskers before moving to rote kappele. they'r a great group of space scallywags!
ReplyDeletebunch of bads tbh. best of luck.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the Tuskers are an outstanding outfit, something tells me Azual will be back in null before too long. Good luck Azual. :D
ReplyDeleteGoing from null to low sec piracy, I do miss being able to fly frigates as much as I did. But it has been a blast so far. No bubbles and refitting everything for gate guns. I'm sure you will enjoy it and hey come look me up :p I still honor 1v1's
ReplyDeletetoll
Welcome aboard! Hopefully we get a chance to fly together soon! I've been in almost eleven months now and I've been having a blast. See you in fleet.
ReplyDeleteNo offense but -all- I've ever seen the Tuskers do is gatecamp in an instalock T2 and pop passing frigates.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure where you've got that impression from, I've never seen them camp a gate once since I've been flying with them. Which gate do you think they camp?
DeleteIf you check their killboard, I think you'll struggle to find many or even *any* kills that fit that description. In fact outside of roaming gangs, most of the Tuskers' kills in frigates, which physically can't camp a gate due to gate guns.
